JEAN
Jean Milner spent 15 years at Webber Wentzel in Johannesburg, where she was a partner from 2003 – 2019. Prior to this, she worked in the United States for a large international law firm.

Jean graduated with BA LLB degrees from The University of Cape Town, an LLM from The American University in Washington, DC and an LLM from the University of Pretoria. She is admitted to practice in South Africa, New York and the District of Columbia.
​
As an equity partner at Webber Wentzel, Jean was included in both the 2018 and 2019 Best Lawyers Business Edition in South Africa for Mergers & Acquisitions.
​
Given her experience as a corporate lawyer with a specialisation in mergers and acquisitions and a particular interest in governance, Jean wishes to share her knowledge and experience through practical training courses.

JESSICA
Jessica Blignaut is a former Senior Associate in corporate law at Webber Wentzel. Before that, she practiced at Bowmans. Jessica graduated with a BA (Hons), LLB and LLM from the University of Cape Town and is admitted to practice in South Africa.

While completing undergraduate and post-graduate studies at UCT, Jessica was a teaching and research assistant, a tutor and facilitated drafting workshops. She draws on that experience, and her own training, in developing effective lawyers.
